Hello there. I suppose you want to know something about the person who has too much time on her hands. I'm Rachel, 28 years old, wife to Doug, stay at home mom to Colwyn (October 2003), Lachlann (August 2005), and Fiona (June 2008). We have a black lab mix, Madison.
In my spare time (ha!), I scrapbook, play Gemstone, and read. We're homeschooling our kids, and go to weekly NSPG playgroups. I also have a blog.
Favorite authors include Bill Bryson, Dan Simmons, David Feintuch, and JK Rowling. My current favorite TV shows are Bones, Monk, Lost, Desperate Housewives, Office, My Name is Earl, and Family Guy. There aren't many movies I don't like, but here are some I watch over and over again: Braveheart, Princess Bride, Shawshank Redemption, Groundhog Day, 50 First Dates, Dogma, and Bubble Boy.
In addition to staying at home with the kids, I also do some freelance writing for Associated Content and am the instructor of a course for Course Bridge.
