Ideas

There are very few things a scrapbook can’t document. From weddings and honeymoons to pets and holidays, we can provide you with a beautiful scrapbook.

Many baby scrapbooks have a two-page layout per month. Additional pages can showcase milestones such as walking, first haircut, messy eating, bathtime, etc. We can also create pages focusing on your baby’s beautiful face, hands, or toes.

Scrapbooks documenting a relationship can be small or large. Larger scrapbooks can include memorabilia like tickets, love letters, and so on. Any non-archival paper can be sprayed to neutralize the acid and thus be photo-safe.

We can create small scrapbooks that include all your family recipes. Photos for such a project could be of the dish itself or of an event where a recipe was served.

Heritage albums are a wonderful way to document your family history. Many families have lots of old photos and interesting stories – what better way to preserve them than in a scrapbook? Most heritage albums include quite a bit of journaling. Heritage albums in particular are great gifts for the genealogist in your family.

Other themes might be: holidays, special events, pets, travel, seasonal, and daily living.

Another idea to consider is what we call a snapshot scrapbook. We named it that because it’s like a snapshot of your child the age they are now. These scrapbooks are usually smaller in size and use coordinating materials. When choosing this type of scrapbook, it’s best to use several rolls of film taking pictures of your child doing a variety of things, all within the space of a week or so (you can, of course, use digital pictures – take many, many pictures). We’ve found that black and white photos work best. For our local customers interested in this type of book, we also offer our photography services. We’re not professional photographers, but we have lots of experience photographing children. You can view sample pictures in our gallery.
